For Dermal Shield Bandage: Remove in warm shower after 3-5 days. Clean with mild, anti-bacterial bar soap (Dial works great).

For Gauze Bandage: Remove after 1-2 hours. Gently clean with warm water and mild, anti-bacterial bar soap (Dial works great).

• Once bandage is removed and tattoo is cleaned, begin applying Aquaphor 2 or 3 times daily after washing. Allow tattoo to “breathe” as much as possible while healing. Cover with loose-fitting, light-colored clothing if needed when around excessive dirt, dust or airborne chemicals.
• Do not sleep with healing tattoo pressed against a sheet or pillowcase.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and swimming for two weeks while tattoo is healing.
